Pre-register now for The Stampede Adelaide

We’ve had a huge cry from South Australia to bring The Stampede to Adelaide. We don’t want our SA friends to miss out on all the fun so we need your help to hit 3,000 pre-registrations to get it off the ground.

So South Australia, you’ve got some homework to do. Please share this post with your mates and encourage as many people as possible to pre-register to make it happen. When we reach 3,000 pre-registrations we’ll announce an Adelaide Stampede, so let’s go people!

Introducing The Junior Stampede

New to The Stampede in 2013 is a special Junior Stampede for groms aged 7-14.

Junior Stampeders can take on a special 1-2km Stampede with kid-friendly obstacles. The Junior Stampede will be held at 2pm on Saturday at the Sydney, Melbourne & Brisbane Stampedes in 2013. Entry is just $25 + fees and parents can run alongside their kids in The Junior Stampede at no charge.

The Stampede set to charge into Perth for the first time in 2013

We’re so excited to announce that The Stampede will be charging into Perth for the first time on Saturday 4th May 2013. After sell out events in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane in 2012 and due to popular demand, The Stampede will be heading west in 2013 to deliver a crazy day of mud, obstacles and beer to our WA buddies.

Run wild through a gruelling 5km or 10km obstacle course. You’ll crawl through thick mud, climb up cargo nets, slide down the giant slip & slide, run through live wires charged with 10,000 volts and wash it all down with a beer on one crazy day.

The Stampede isn’t a race. The Stampede is an epic challenge that will push you to your limits. Anyone can take part, regardless of your fitness level as it’s not about crossing the finish line first. Tickets for The Stampede Sydney 2013 - special offer!

What an amazing day at The Stampede Sydney! The event was a sell-out once again in only its second year, so to all those that missed out to tickets to the most epic event of the year - get in early for 2013!

And good news - The Stampede Sydney is set to charge back again in November 2013! Date and location are TBC at this stage however will more than likely be November and at a location within 1.5 hours drive of Sydney. We will confirm these details as soon as these elements are confirmed.

We're offering a special offer on tickets for The Stampede Sydney 2013. Buy your ticket for 2013 now for just $50 + fees for the 5km run and $70 + fees for the 10km run. Run The Stampede for free by volunteering with us

Enthusiastic event volunteers are currently being recruited to work at The Stampede events in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.

In return for a half-day shift assisting with registration, cloakroom or course marshaling duties you’ll receive a free ticket to run the 5km Stampede, free camping & parking, a t-shirt & lunch.

The Stampede is a massive event and as such requires a dedicated team of incredible volunteers that have a passion for a great big day out, fun and new experiences.

Volunteering at The Stampede is a fun way to get involved in this event and be a part of it, see behind the scenes, cheer on your friends or other competitors and just simply have a really good time while working in an amazing team for a few hours. Event volunteers are needed to assist with event day registration, cloakroom checking and course marshalling.

The Stampede is proud to support Lifeline, CanTeen and The Wilderness Society as official event charity partners in 2012 and we're encouraging all participants to get involved and raise funds to support these amazing charities.

Participants who raise over $500 for one of these charities will receive a free ticket to The Stampede, so get your family, friends, colleagues to sponsor you. All donations over $2 are tax deductable so get involved!

The Biggest Losers return to tackle The Stampede

The final 4 contestants from the popular television series The Biggest Loser recently returned to Glenworth Valley for the second time this season to take on a custom-built 3km version of The Stampede, an annual mud run & obstacle race, with the episode set to air at 7pm (EST) on Wednesday 2nd May 2012 on Channel Ten.

After being put through many rigorous training sessions and gruelling challenges throughout the three months spent at Camp Biggest Loser, The Stampede was the contestant’s final challenge to complete before one is named as the winner of The Biggest Loser 2012.

With their new, leaner physiques and increased fitness this challenge should have been a breeze for the final 4 however this time around there was a unique twist – the contestants had to navigate their way through the course while tied to their trainer.
